Poolside With Kat

We hope that all of our Gatewood pool members ( property owners and summer members) have enjoyed a wonderful summer of swimming and sunning at our Gatewood Pool. Year- round school is beginning in all of our Greenwood County school districts and we wish all of our students’ good luck as they return – be smart and do your best. We want to thank our summer staff for all of their work to provide a safe, clean and attractive swimming environment for your use.

Our college students are returning to their own schools in the next few weeks: Bradford McCaslan – The Citadel, Savannah Huskey – Anderson University, Aniah Kaltz – Wofford University and Anna Margaret Steinburg – University of South Carolina (Columbia). We hope that you all will have a successful year filled with academic excellence and many positive experiences. Most of our high schoolers begin this week and include Michael Blizzard, Greenwood High School, Kennedy Kaltz – Greenwood Christian School (mid-August) and Selah Lawrence, Greenwood High School.

Our pool remains open until mid-October for all members and the end of October for property owners. We will be providing staff on a limited basis through Labor Day. They will be working mainly on weekends due to the new year-round school calendar. Pool party reservations are still available with a ten (10) day notice.
