Amenity Upgrades!

Over the past month your Board of Directors has authorized several new projects to the community’s amenities.

Tall Pines Trail Dock – This dock was previously floored with a man-mad product that had been donated by a former Gatewood resident. Over the past ten years this product proved to be inferior and had become a liability. The Board voted to rebuild the floor, subsequently reinforcing a section of the floor joists and installing a railing system similar to the Gatewood Drive dock. Treated lumber was used this time for the materials.

Clubhouse Parking Lot Play Ground – This past week the Board learned of the current unsafe condition of the children’s playground equipment located at the upper section of the parking lot. At the April 18th Board Meeting, the Board acted swiftly, deciding that this liability was a major safety concern and voted to allocate the necessary funds to rectify this . It was decided to purchase a higher quality playground set from Wagler’s Outdoor Structures here in Greenwood. The new playset was installed Wednesday, April 20th.
