Clubhouse News

The community fire pit will be available for member reservations beginning April 1, 2023. Please read and review the policies and procedures so that we can all safely enjoy this wonderful new amenity! While there is no charge to reserve the space, we do ask that you call ahead to the Clubhouse and book your time to ensure there are no conflicts or prior reservations.

Renovations are underway for the Clubhouse event space and we hope to reopen soon, beginning with our newly expanded and revamped concept for Calhoun’s. In addition to re-imagining the guest space, we will offer more times for members to relax and enjoy a beverage or two. Speaking of beverages, in order for us to continue to be compliant with SC Liquor Law regulations, it will not be permissible for alcohol to be consumed in the Clubhouse, the Racquet Courts, Pool, or Fire Pit that is not purchased from those locations. Gatewood will abide by this law.

However, we will make sure that you have the opportunity to purchase beer, seltzer, and wine coolers with expanded hours and availability at the Pro Shop, Calhoun’s, and Pool Shack. Liquor will be limited to evening hours and special events. To make this easier we are adjusting our offerings, updating our prices to include sales tax for one flat price, and plan to incorporate point-of-sale card readers at the Clubhouse and Pro Shop in the coming months!
