HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS????????!!!!!!!
The Clubhouse Committee is excited to announce that we have been given the approval to proceed with installing a deck on the back of Calhoun’s as well as a Firepit/ Conversation area in the grass area near the pool. We are breaking ground this MONTH! This Deck and Firepit area can only be achieved with the help of our Community. How can I help, you ask?
• If you have carpentry/masonry experience and would be willing to volunteer hours/labor please reach out to Darla Steed at 937-522-5165
• Would you be willing to provide lunch, drinks (nonalcoholic beverages), fruit, etc. for our Volunteers? If so, please contact Charlene McDonnell at 413-347-3268
• We will be hosting a “Dining and Dancing for the DECK” fundraiser in April. Are you willing to help organize? Volunteer during the event? If so, please contact Janey Kelley at 864-993-5711
SOME EXCITING Calhoun’s Events for March! Drink of the Month: Midori Sour
***NEW**** We will be celebrating Gatewood “Birthdays” the first Friday of each month. Come join in…let us celebrate your special day or join in on celebrating your fellow neighbor’s special day. Enjoyment for all; a Birthday treat, a celebration toast and a good ole’ Happy Birthday song.
• March Birthday Celebration: Friday March 4th- Birthday Celebration @ 7pm.
• Mimosa/Bloody Mary Bar, Saturday March 5th 10am-2pm
• Third Thursday Trivia, March 17th, bar opens at 5:30 Trivia starts at 6:30pm
• St Patrick’s Day Happy Hour Celebration Friday, March 18th – wear your green, bring your favorite Irish dish, if you don’t have one, bring your favorite “Green” dish to share with others. If you wear your “Green” you will be entered into a chance to take home a St Patrick’s Day themed basket.
• Every FRIDAY Happy Hour 5pm-9pm (will stay open later if patrons wish)
• For entertainment we have a fun table of games available for all to enjoy- Jenga, Phase 10, Chess, Left-Right-Center and another fun Dice Game.
YOGA: Every Saturday 9:30 at the Clubhouse
