Clubhouse Committee

Hello Gatewood community,
Things are starting to change a little at the clubhouse!

BAR
Volunteer residents have worked very hard to paint and clean the Bar and Back Lounge area for upcoming activities the Social Committee has planned. Our liquor license has been applied for and hopefully we should be approved in early October.

LIBRARY
We are looking to make one of the rooms at the Clubhouse a library. It would be a quiet sitting area with bookshelves, chairs, end tables and table lamps. This would also provide a book and jigsaw puzzle exchange, a “little library” book exchange for children as well as a quiet/cozy reading area.
Until we have the money to decorate this room
with new furnishings, we are looking for donations. We just would like to be as consistent as possible
with appearance while at the same time accepting donations. You can email pictures or call me if you have any of the items listed below that you would be willing to donate.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
We have some fun things planned such as an opening celebration of the bar, a Halloween Murder Mystery party and more!
We don’t want to commit to adding dates to the calendar without first getting our liquor license approval so if you would like to be notified of upcoming events, please send us your email or other preferred contact information.

VOLUNTEERS
We would like to build a volunteer contact database to have a group to call on when we get ready to approach individual projects and events down the road.
