Chairman’s Report

Thanks to all of the homeowners who were able to come to the annual meeting on June 20. Hopefully, it was informative and we were able to answer your questions and deal with your concerns.

This board is extremely focused on doing whatever is possible to make Gatewood an even better place to live and raise our families. Having been on many not for profit boards, including four HOA boards, I can unequivocally say that these volunteers are the best with which I have ever worked. We are also extremely fortunate to have Wilson Bruce as our manager and Town and Country as our developer. Wilson is always ready to do whatever we ask. The Mays family gives great support financially and through in-kind gifts.

Linda and I have lived in Gatewood for 42 years and we fondly remember it as the “happening” place for children and adults – members and guests. I believe that Gatewood is coming back- thanks to our members and boards over the last few years.

Hopefully we will continue to work together to improve on the amenities and programs in place, as we add new ones. It is my honor to serve as your President.
