Pickleball Courts
Paul Hamilton and Wilson Bruce were recently notified by Howard B. Jones, the contractor engaged to perform the hard court surfacing and converting to 2 courts to 6 pickleball courts project, that due to weather and labor shortage they could not perform this work until Spring 2023. They promised to hold their original price but would allow us to void the contract if we want to take another route. Howard B. Jones has now offered to come this Fall and install the pickleball posts with nets and paint temporary lines so we can begin playing on the 6 new courts. They would then return in Spring to accomplish the resurfacing of all the hard surface courts. Paul and Wilson believe this is what is best. We recently received confirmation that the contractor will be at the Gatewood courts in late October to install the posts and nets and paint the lines on the six pickleball courts.
