Gatewood Club Membership
The Gatewood Club is a family oriented organization of the Gatewood Property Owners Association. The purpose of the Gatewood Club is to provide its members an outstanding facility where they can meet with friends, entertain their guests, and enjoy the recreational facilities in a quiet setting. The clubhouse is located in the heart of the Gatewood neighborhood; The clubhouse overlooks the upper lake. The facilities include a spacious dining room, dance floor, intimate lounge, and five private rooms including a board room overlooking the pool and lake. The tennis facilities include a full time tennis professional, a pro shop with a viewing platform, six clay, and four hard surfaced tennis courts. The pool is 2,500 sq/ft and is the largest in the area. It is fully staffed with a snack bar. Gatewood also has great walking/biking trails and roads surrounding 11 lakes. The largest two lakes are 30 and 15 acres, and feature gazebo piers that are accessible for fishing and non-motorized boating.
Categories
The Gatewood Property Owners association allows membership either through property ownership or by invitation. Membership entitles the property owners and any children residing in a home to membership. The child of an adult member who is nineteen years of age or older, but less than twenty-five, who is enrolled as a full time student will be allowed to participate as a family member. Otherwise, this person must apply for an individual membership. The following membership categories of membership are:
Property Owner – ( $259 per month ) Property ownership in Gatewood entitles full club privileges of tennis, swimming, trails, lakes, and social. Dues include HOA fees.
Racquet Member – ( $115 Family / $75 Individual per month ** ) Racquet club members may enjoy the use of the tennis courts, pro shop, and any tennis member events held at the clubhouse. ( Racquet, Clubhouse Activities )
Pickleball Member – ( $115 Family / $50 Individual per month ** ) (includes access to Clubhouse Activities, Charge Privileges, and Pickleball Courts)
Pool Member – ( $750 annual Family / $450 annual Individual ) Pool members may enjoy the use of the pool, snack bar, and any pool member events held at the clubhouse. (Pool, Summer Clubhouse Activities & Calhoun’s, limited fitness/classes only with a fee)
Swim & Play – ( $140 Family / $105 Individual** ) (Pool, Racquet Membership, Clubhouse, Fishing, access during ProShop hours, discounted Clubhouse rentals – this membership category pauses from June 1 until September 1 for new members )
** If you drop your membership and decide to rejoin within a year, a reinstatement fee of $300.00 must be paid before your membership begins. If it occurs more than once, a reinstatement fee of $500.00 will be required.
