DESCRIPTION:You Can’t Miss This!!! \n\n\n\nGatewood Racquet Committee with support from the Club House and Social Committees will be hosting the first ever Community Pickleball extravaganza on Saturday May 21\, 2022 starting at 8 to 8:30 sign up for play. \n\n\n\nParticipants will be Gatewood property owners\, Club Members\, their invited guests\, and we also are inviting members of Greenwood Country Club and Stoney Point Country Club. \n\n\n\nOur goal is not only to grow Racquet Sports in Gatewood\, but to showcase how beautiful\, friendly\, and supportive our community is. \n\n\n\nWhat you can expect: \n\n\n\nA tennis drill exhibition by Paul\, Casey\, Harper\, and Lauren. Everyone needs to experience this greatest show on clay. Exhibition starts at 12 on tennis court 6. Paul will then introduce a new game on Pickleball court 2\, played on Pickleball courts\, called Pop Tennis.Based on attendance\, food trucks will be on site from 11 – 2. In addition\, we welcome those who would like to share a snack\, appetizer\, or drinks\, etc.Calhoun’s will be open at 5 pm for those who want to further their trash talking\, experience our new social digs\, or just to socialize. *Club members are welcome to bring guests\, but a Club Member’s number must be used\, as no cash is allowed.\n\n\n\nHow is Pickleball Day going to work? \n\n\n\nFor those who have never played Pickleballor would like to know more about the game\, instruction will be available. DESCRIPTION:Join your neighbors for Paint and Pour! Sunday\, March 27\, 2-4 PM at the Clubhouse. $30.00 per person (will be charged to your account). This $30 does not include the “Pour”\, it only covers materials and instruction for painting. You may get a “Pour”\, if you wish\, from the bar at Calhoun’s during the event. Reserve your space by Wednesday\, March 23. This is also the date for cancellations. \n\n\n\nRefunds cannot be issued after March 23. If you’ve never participated in a Paint and Pour\, you don’t know what you’re missing! Join the fun and bring out your inner artist!

DESCRIPTION:The weekend of March 11-13\, Gatewood will host our first annual “Spring into Pickleball” Round Robin Tournament. This event will feature ladies’\, men’s and mixed doubles. Contact Lynn Isenhower\, 864-993-6715\, if you will help recruit sponsors or provide hospitality.  All profits from the tournament will go toward the Gatewood pickleball court renovation project.
